THE HOLYHEAD AND DISTRICT ANGLING CLUB
The Holyhead and Distrtict Angling Club was formed in 1954 with the first meeting being held at then the County Hotel,and now the Conservative Club.
The club has been involved with sea angling at local,National and International level since then and currently boasts six Welsh National Senior Squad members with a current Gold World Champion Welsh Squad member and two junior Gold Medalist at International level.
The club is fully involved with all issues of fisheries protection and have been leaders of the National Bass protection lobby,and the rights of anglers. Members of N.F.S.A.in the past
and active members of the W.F.S.A.from its inception to the current date.
Holyhead & District Angling Club is very involved with the community of Holyhead and Anglesey, contributing to many local good causes. The club currently boasts a membership
of 140 and has its own club house ,situated in Kings road Holyhead,and also has a thriving coarse section and its own lake at Cwm,The Mountain,Holyhead.
Membership,subject to approval,is open to anyone,and a warm welcome awaits the angler whether novice or old hand.
